Performance of global nonlinear analyses for the more powerful launcher configuration 'ARIANE 5 - Plus' (assessment of the ultimate load capacity load of the central stage booster attachment structure (JAVE) in interaction with adjacent structures). This nonlinear analysis was the last resort to demonstrate the flight worthiness of the launcher under aggravated load environment. It was one of the first applications of this global approach on the European launcher. This strategy and its results were highly praised by the customer and acknowledged by national and international space agencies.
